Strong Beginnings. Pedigree for Success.

In 2014, Super Chix opened in Dallas as a Yum! Brands-owned fast casual concept. Yum! spent years perfecting recipes, flavor profiles and brand experience. Super Chix existed in contrast to Yum!’s quick-serve chicken success, KFC, with a slimmed-down menu, cleaner ingredient list, and upscaled dining environment positioned in the growing premium fast casual market. In 2018, A Utah restaurant group, previously a top Five Guys franchisee, acquired controlling rights to Super Chix. Since 2018, 350+ Franchise rights have been sold into nearly every state with 27 locations open across the country.

The Fast Growing, Fast-Casual Chicken Segment

Fast casual chicken concepts are one of the fastest-growing segments across all food franchises. As more opportunities emerge and the profitability of the chicken franchise sector stays on the incline, it’s no longer a question of if a chicken franchise will be a sound investment; rather, for many multi-unit investors, it’s a question of which one to invest in. The U.S. chicken franchise market has increased at a rate faster than the economy overall and has grown 8.4% per year on average between 2018 and 2023. As for U.S. market size, chicken franchises account for nearly $55.6 billion, indicating that the hot chicken craze won’t be dying down any time soon
